  43.       of the Windows3.1 driver.

  45.       When playing or recording MIDI or WAVE data with the SCP-55 using 
  46.       applications like DoReMiX, EasyJuke2 or Sound Recorder, do not remove
  47.       the SCP-55 from the PC card slot.
  48.       *You can remove the SCP-55 from the PC card slot when not playing
  49.        anything back.

  66.  1-1 Setting Windows95 PC Card Service
  67.   (1)Click "PC Card" Icon in the "Control Panel" window, and "PC Card
  68.      Wizard" dialog box opens.
  69.      Note: If "PC Card Properties" is displayed, PC card is ready to use. 
  70.            Please click the "CANCEL" button. Following procedure is not
  71.            necessary. Go to 1-2.
  72.   (2)You will be asked,"Are you using a PC card[network card,CD-ROM connected
  73.      to a SCSI card,etc.] to install Windows?". Select "No" and click the
  74.      "Next" button.
  75.   (3)You will be asked,"Do you want to review your system files and select
  76.      real-mode PC card drivers so Windows can disable them?". Select "No"
  77.      and click the "Next" button.
  78.   (4)Click the "Finish" button.
  79.   (5)You will be asked in the "System Settings Change"dialog box,"Would
  80.      you like to shut down your computer now?". Click the "Yes" button to
  81.      shut down your computer.
  82.   (6)Turn on your computer and start up Windows95.

  84.      *To see the detail, search for "Enabling support for" with Windows95
  85.       Help, and obey its instructions.

  88.  1-2 Installing SCP-55 driver

  90.   (1)Insert the SCP-55 into the PC card slot.
  91.      After a while, you will see a message which reads,"New Hardware Found"
  92.      and then a dialog box for selecting a driver.

  94.      Make sure that "Driver from disk provided by hardware manufacturer"
  95.      is selected, and click the "OK" button.

  97.   (2)You will see "Install From Disk" dialog box. Click "Browse..."
  98.      and select "A:\scp55\win95". Click the "OK" button and obey its
  99.      instructions to install the driver.

  101.   (3)Change the MIDI and WAVE device to "SCP-55" using the "Multimedia"
  102.      icon in the "Control Panel" window.(ref.1-3)

  120.   (1) Activate "Volume Control" that is included in Windows95.
  121.       ("Start"->"Programs"->"Accessories"->"Multimedia")
  122.   (2)Open the "Properties" in the "Options" menu.
  123.   (3)Change Mixer device to "SCP-55 Mixer".
  124.   (4)Select "Playback" in the "Adjust volume for" box. Check all the
  125.      check boxes in the "Show the following volume controls" box,then
  126.      click the "OK" button. The mixer screen appears and you can control
  127.      the volume.
  128.   (5)Setup "Recording" in the same way.

  133.  2-1 Installing "Volume Control"
  134.   (1)Insert Windows95 CD-ROM (ref.2-2)
  135.   (2)Double-click the "Add/Remove Programs" icon in the "Control Panel"
  136.      window.
  137.   (3)Select "Windows Setup" Tab, then select "Multimedia" from the list
  138.      of "Components:". Click the "Details..." button, and "Multimedia"
  139.      dialog box will open.
  140.   (4)Search for "Volume Control" from the list of "Components:" ,check
  141.      the check-box, and click the "OK" button. Click the "OK" button after
  142.      coming back to the "Add/Remove Programs" dialog box.

  146.  2-2 When you use the SCSI Card again
  147.      After setting the Windows95 PC card service, in some cases your SCSI
  148.      card connected to the CD-ROM will be unavailable. This is because the
  149.      SCSI card does not support Windows95.
  150.      In this case, click "Help" after clicking "Start" button, the type
  151.      "PC card" in the box of "Index" tab. Select "PC card/disabling support
  152.      for" and obey its instructions.

  155. 3.Trouble Shooting

  157.  3-1  In Case You Hear Noise When Playing Back a Wave File
  158.       There is a case you hear noise when the Power management is set on "Advanced".
  159.       In this case, take the following steps to change the setting.
  160.       
  161.   (1)Click the "Start" button. Point to "Settings" and click "Control Panel".
  162.   (2)Double-click the "Power" icon in the "Control Panel" window.
  163.      Then, you see the "Power Properties" dialog box.
  164.   (3)Select "Standard" in "Power management". Then, click the "OK" button.

  166.   3-2 In Case the Wave File Playback Stops
  167.    When playing or recording MIDI or WAVE data with the SCP-55 using applications
  168.    like "DoReMiX", "EasyJuke2" or "Sound Recorder", do not start up "MS-DOS
